What's the difference between AHA and Red Cross Certifications?

What is BLS Provider training?
BLS Provider training is a comprehensive course that teaches healthcare professionals the essential skills needed to respond to cardiac emergencies. It covers adult, child, and infant CPR techniques, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and team dynamics.

Who should take BLS Provider training?
BLS Provider training is designed for healthcare providers such as doctors, nurses, dentists, physician assistants, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who require a credential documenting successful completion of a Healthcare Provider CPR course.

Can I choose specific training for adults, children, or infants only?
Yes, we offer different options based on your specific needs. You can choose the Heartsaver CPR/AED Adult course (1.5 hours) for training focused solely on adult CPR. Alternatively, the Heartsaver CPR/AED Adult and Child course (2 hours) covers adult and child CPR techniques. For comprehensive training that includes adults, children, and infants, the Heartsaver CPR/AED Adult, Child, and Infant course (2.5 hours) is available.

Is the certification provided after completing the course valid for a certain period?
Yes, the certification received upon successful completion of the BLS Provider or Heartsaver CPR/AED courses is typically valid for two years. It demonstrates your proficiency in responding to cardiac emergencies and CPR techniques during that period.
